The reef and coral cay that is Heron Island at the center top of the image above. Wistari Reef with its tiny developing cay is at the lower left of the image (yellow triangle).

Heron Island Coral Cay with the resort to the left and the Pisonia forest on the lee (toward bottom) and Messerschmidtia/Pandanus woodland on the windward side. The gray line along the lee side represents beach rock exposed by beach erosion due to the water level problems introduced by the ship channel.
